The role

 

Ideal applicants will possess a wide range of skills, including commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, monitoring, and repair of heavy electrical equipment. Successful applicants possess strong electrical aptitudes and knowledge, hands-on skills, and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, they will be flexible and attentive to customers' needs.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Start-up and commissioning of solar inverters at customers' photovoltaic solar plants.
  • Diagnose and repair of faulted inverters on field, troubleshooting (replacement of FRUs, replacement of MV transformers, replacement MV switchgear, electronic boards, AC and DC fuses, fans, and filters) and other components.
  • Complete on time daily field reports that capture time and work completed on site.
  • Responsible of inventory parts assigned to the technician to perform at work at the field.
  • Responsible of caring for company property such as company vehicle, tools, electronic devices, and PPE.
  • Follow procedures to provide maintenance to inverters.
  • Update software and hardware.
  • Attend warranty claim service tickets.
  • Follow up procedures of Safe Start and Safe Stop.
  • Responsible for physical installations such as connections, wiring, etc.
  • Responsible to complete Layer 1 safety checklist.
  • Practice and adhere to Safety and Training policies.
  • Completion of expense reports.
  • Travel based on operations demands.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Must have a valid driver license.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Experience working with high voltage.
