What You’ll Do

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Business Development Manager (Mobility) to lead commercial growth for our electric mobility and industrial drives portfolio. This role offers autonomy to define and execute sales strategies, build strong customer relationships, and close high‑value deals across key industrial sectors.

You will leverage your deep technical understanding of drives, power converters, and power electronics, as well as your commercial expertise, to position Power Electronics as the preferred partner for OEMs, EPCs, integrators, and industrial end users operating in sectors such as water, mining, data centers, machinery manufacturing, and oil & gas.

Your main duties will include:

  • Define and execute commercial strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives for the Mobility & Drives division within your assigned territory.
  • Actively prospect and sell to OEMs, EPCs, integrators, industrial operators, and key accounts, strengthening Power Electronics’ presence in the mobility and industrial markets.
  • Drive business growth by securing contracts and master supply agreements for drive systems, power converters, and mobility solutions, while maintaining accurate records of opportunities and proposals in our CRM.
  • Represent Power Electronics at industry events, trade shows, and strategic meetings; plan and execute regular visits with key customers to deepen relationships and identify new opportunities. Expect up to 50% domestic travel, including occasional international travel to our HQ in Spain.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring satisfaction and long-term retention while collaborating with internal engineering, commercial, and product teams to support proposal development and project handover.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in sales or business development within drives, power electronics, EV mobility, or industrial automation
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in competitive technical markets
  • Strong technical acumen in electronics, power electronics, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and industrial mobility systems
  • Experience working with industrial sectors such as water, mining, oil & gas, data centers, and OEM machinery
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Office 365; engineering background strongly preferred
  • Spanish language is desirable due to collaboration with teams in Spain
  • Ideally based in Houston, TX, but we can evaluate a remote option depending on the candidate’s profile and expertise.
