Define the commercial strategies, as well as plan the resources (team of people andeconomic budget) required in its area of influence to meet the commercial objectives.
Plan and carry out visits and contacts with key customers (large national accounts) andparticipate in the forums agreed upon in the commercial strategy. You will prospect and sell to leading IPPs, Developers, and EPCs.
Collaborate in the development of business through the achievement of agreements withina global framework. Account management of some existing customer base.
To monitor both collectively and individually the commercial plan to know the degree ofcompliance with the actions and/or strategies defined.
Produce and maintain accurate records of opportunities, proposals, contracts, and business activities, fully utilizing the Company’s CRM tool, and per corporate guidelines.
Share internally with the responsible departments, the needs detected from thecustomers, as well as the market evolution.
Participate in the design of Power Electronics strategies at product level and brand promotion and positioning.
Build and maintain a sales network, recruiting, training and motivating the team to facilitate the achievement of results.
Follow-up of new recruits in positions with direct dependency.
Evaluate the performance and efficiency of their direct collaborators.
Carry out all those tasks entrusted by your immediate manager both associated with your area and linked to other departments to ensure the correct development of the work.
Comply with the matrix of roles and responsibilities for safety and health in the workplace (P14.130S-F01).
Management of the control and review of attendance and/or absences of the teams in their area of responsibility.
Define the incentive policy associated with each delegation and/or delegate.

Bachelor's degree and/or university degree, preferably related to industrial engineering.
Master in Management and Sales (MBA)

Professional level of office 365 package, experience in ERP and CRM management.

What You’ll Do

 

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Sales Director to lead commercial growth in the renewables and data center markets. This senior role offers autonomy to define and execute sales strategies, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and close high-value deals for our solar and storage solutions. You will operate in a highly competitive environment, leveraging your deep industry knowledge and technical acumen to position Power Electronics as the preferred partner for Independent Power Producers (IPPs), developers, EPCs, OEMs, and system integrators. Your main duties will include:

 

  • Define and execute commercial strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives within your assigned territory, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Actively prospect and sell to leading Independent Power Producers (IPPs), Developers, EPCs, system integrators, and OEMs, while expanding Power Electronics’ presence in the renewables and data center markets.
  • Drive business growth by securing contracts and master supply agreements for solar and storage products, while maintaining accurate records of opportunities, proposals, and contracts using the company’s CRM system.
  • Represent Power Electronics at industry events and strategic meetings, planning and executing regular visits with key customers to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities. Expect up to 50% domestic travel and occasional international trips to our HQ in Spain.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring retention and satisfaction, while collaborating with internal teams to share market trends, customer needs, and support proposal development, project handover, and account management.

 

What We’re Looking For 

 

  • 10+ years of experience in sales within power generation, energy storage, or power delivery industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and closing complex deals in competitive markets.
  • Deep understanding of solar and storage technologies, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Strong technical acumen to communicate value propositions and product advantages effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Office 365; MBA or engineering background preferred.
  • This position is remote but ideally based in New York, Kansas City, or Chicago, with openness to travel across the East and West Coast as needed.
