The role

We are searching for a Health and Safety Clerk.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper updating and maintenance of the database associated with the training andcontrol of PPE and work clothes.
  • Manage the documentation associated with the area's activities, ensuring its correctclassification and filing.
  • Manage the purchase request and follow-up of PPE and workwear orders, as well as therecord in the delivery to the workers' collective and the control of their expiration date.
  • Perform sampling and inventory actions to control the stock of PPE and work clothes.
  • Provide support to the international area in the activities related to the purchase of PPEand workwear, as well as the coordination for their shipment.
  • Collaborate in the realization and execution of the work together with the rest of theinternal departments, ensuring the correct development of the work.
  • Collaborate in the definition and documentation of processes and protocols related to thearea, as well as identify inefficiencies and propose improvement actions.
  • Collaborate in the preparation and management of audits.
  • Communicate and report to the immediate manager on the activity linked to theirresponsibilities, recording and updating indicators (KPIs).
  • Carry out all those tasks entrusted by your immediate manager both associated with yourarea and linked to other departments to ensure the correct development of the work.
  • Comply with the matrix of roles and responsibilities for safety and health in the workplace(P14.130S-F01).

Experience and Education:

  • High school diploma
  • Previous experience within H&S department

Skills required

  • Working knowledge and experience in Microsoft programs such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
  • Good interpersonal relations by working well with teams.
  • Fluent in Spanish (Desirable)

Comply with the part of the ORP Plan corresponding to the assigned area, as well as elaborate, execute and supervise the Preventive Planning derived from the ORP plan.
Collaborate with PEMedical in the monitoring of workers considered as particularly sensitive in the assigned areas, ensuring that they perform their job in accordance with the restrictions determined.
Carry out the work permits so that external companies can develop their activity, analyzing the documentation and verifying that it corresponds to the determined requirements.
Perform the evaluation of packaging and transport carts, ensuring that they comply with the determined requirements.
Collaborate in the design, pre-acceptance and implementation phases of new machinery, ensuring that it complies with the requirements determined for health and safety.
Collaborate in the preparation and management of audits.
Lead and conduct safety audits of the assigned area (Safety Walk - LPA).
Dynamize, follow up and collaborate in the achievement of the Leading Indicators of the assigned area.
Identify and select the PPE required in the different work positions.
Elaborate and provide inductions and training on health and safety.
Collaborate in the preparation of the documentation of health and safety procedures in accordance with the regulations, as well as the modifications and updates that take place.
Collaborate in the realization and execution of projects together with the rest of the internal departments, ensuring the correct development of the work.
Communicate and inform the immediate manager about the status and evolution of each action and initiative carried out (KPIs), highlighting the main milestones, as well as assessing their suitability and impact.
Carry out all those tasks entrusted by your immediate manager both associated with your area and linked to other departments to ensure the correct development of the work.
Comply with the matrix of roles and responsibilities for safety and health in the workplace (P14.130S-F01).

University education (Diploma, Degree and/or Bachelor's Degree); in the case of occupying this position in an area with electrical risk, it is essential to have an academic background in an electrical discipline.
