The role
As a Workshop Assembler, you will support the assembly, disassembly, testing, and basic troubleshooting of equipment and components within our workshop environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assemble and disassemble mechanical and basic electrical components, following established procedures.
- Use hand tools, drills, and measurement tools safely and effectively.
- Use a multimeter to perform basic voltage readings and continuity checks (training provided).
- Assist with basic circuit assembly tasks
- Enter data and track assembly or test information in Word, Excel, and internal systems.
- Follow step‑by‑step procedures and maintain documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Support hands‑on training initiatives and follow all workshop guidelines.
Experience
- 6 months to 1 year of hands‑on experience in assembly, mechanical work, workshop operations, or similar fields.
- Hand tools
- Power drills
- Multimeters (or willingness to learn)
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits is a plus, but not required.
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, data entry).
- Ability to follow procedures step‑by‑step.
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and teamwork skills.
