Business Development Manager | UK Market

At Power Electronics we are looking for energetic and driven Business Development Manager that will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and driving sales activities in United Kigndom. BD Manager will develop and lead the commercial relationships with customers, identify and analyze their needs, and coordinate with internal departments to provide the best possible solution. Set measurable goals and develop a detailed sales forecast to achieve revenue growth over year.

 

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop and Manage sales pipeline of new and existing strategic customers.
  • Ability to prospect, cold call and use web tools to develop new customers.
  • Understand the Solar strategies of your customers and guide them to products and services that help them achieve their goals.
  • Develop and execute strategies for commercial prospecting to identify and generate contacts with new potential customers and key decision makers.
  • Establish and maintain yearly sales forecast to support company revenue targets.
  • Collaborate on commercial solutions and technical proposals with internal product and engineering teams.
  • Monitor competitive products, market trends and industry policies.
  • Work with utilities in your region as sources of funding and also as potential clients.
  • Understand entire PE product and service portfolio and provide input on market position and suggestions for potential improvement.
  • Record commercial actions in the CRM including tracking opportunities, orders and forecasts.
  • Coordinate efforts with Project Managers as needed.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences and industry events as needed.

 

Adademic Education & Experience required:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a competitive sales environment. 
  • Workable knowledge of the Solar Market including competitive Products and Services.
  • Proven track record in a similar position selling to various industries.
  • Technical acumen with experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strategic thinking, planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently but also collaborate with team members and various departments within the company as needed.
