With such ambitions and standards in mind, we are looking for a Health & Safety Technician to join the family and contribute to making the word more sustainable than ever, one step at a time in our Milton Keynes office MK10 0BZ.

  • Perm Contract.
  • Full time position.
  • Hybrid position.

 

The role, Responsibilities includes but are not limited to;

  • Provide support to the fulfillment of the ORP Plan corresponding to the assigned area, as well as elaborate, execute and supervise the Preventive Planning derived from the ORP plan. Collaborate in the deployment of procedures and monitoring of indicators.
  • Collaborate with PE Medical in the monitoring of workers considered as particularly sensitive in the assigned areas, ensuring that they perform their job in accordance with the restrictions determined.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of work permits for external companies to carry out their activities, analyzing the documentation and verifying that it corresponds to the determined requirements.
  • Provide support in the evaluation of packaging and transport carts, ensuring that it complies with the determined requirements. Identify and select the PPE required in the different work positions.
  • Collaborate in the design, pre-acceptance and implementation phases of new machinery, ensuring that it complies with the requirements determined for health and safety.
  • Collaborate in the preparation and management of audits. Collaborate in the preparation of the documentation of health and safety procedures in accordance with the regulations, as well as the modifications and updates that take place. Comply with the matrix of roles and responsibilities for safety and health in the workplace (P14.130S-F01).

 

Academic Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in a safety related program or equivalent.
  • 2+ years experience in professional safety/loss control.
  • Able to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Knowledge of IOSHH, OSHH and applicable regulatory agencies.
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office Products.
