The Maintenance Operations Specialist supports the planning, coordination, tracking, and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities within Service Operations. This role acts as a key operational link between field teams, customers, internal service teams, logistics, spare parts, planning, and management.
The position is responsible for ensuring that maintenance activities are properly scheduled, documented, tracked, and closed in the applicable systems, supporting operational visibility, customer communication, and compliance with service requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with field teams, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Support the planning and scheduling of maintenance work, ensuring resources, tools, documentation, and site requirements are aligned before execution.
- Track maintenance progress, open actions, pending documentation, and completion status.
- Maintain accurate records in company systems such as PONS, SAP, Power BI reports, or any other applicable platform.
- Review maintenance reports and identify missing information, documentation gaps, or reporting inconsistencies.
- Follow up with technicians, regional managers, and service leads to ensure maintenance reports are completed and submitted on time.
- Support customer communication related to maintenance scheduling, documentation, service status, and required follow-up.
- Coordinate with Spare Parts and Logistics to support material availability for maintenance or corrective activities.
- Assist in identifying maintenance backlog, overdue activities, and potential operational risks.
- Ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with warranty requirements, contractual obligations, and internal service processes.
- Escalate operational blockers, delays, missing documentation, or customer-related issues when required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance planning, reporting quality, process discipline, and operational efficiency.
